International Conference on High Performance Powder Metallurgy Materials.

17th Plansee Seminar on Powder Metallurgical High Performance Materials.
Location: Plansee Group in Reutte, Austria.

Increased global demand and higher costs as well as environmental considerations pose a challenge for further optimizing overall powder material efficiency, e.g. by near-net-shape forming and by recycling, and of introducing novel, more energy-efficient processes, in particular for sintering. Innovative P/M materials will continue to play a key role in increasing the efficiency of all kinds of machinery, for energy conversion, for transportation etc.

Applications, materials, processes and testing methods will be addressed in key-note lectures and contributed papers. The latter will be presented in oral sessions and poster contributions.
